The Academy of Music
offers optional music examinations two times per year. These examinations ensure
that our students are fully prepared to go to the next level and are very
important to the long term success of the music student.

Teachers Guild Membership
The Academy is a
member of the Ontario Music Teacher's Guild, a non-profit organization
dedicated to continually improving and enhancing the experience of learning
music. Membership in the guild allows the school to participate in 2
annual music festivals per year designed to celibrate the art of music
performance and allows students to gain performance experience and showcase
their talents . We are the only school in Georgetown with the OMTG membership.

6) Regular performance opportunities
The increased confidence you get from performing cannot be achieved anywhere else. Not to mention the benefits of working towards a specific goal.
We have a minimum of 2 optional, low pressure concerts every year designed to give students a comfortable outlet to showcase their talents. They will feel great about themselves when the audience cheers in appreciation for the hard work they put into the performance.

The Academy of Music in Georgetown is conveniently located on Guelph Street just East of Tim Horton`s (across from Canadian Tire). Due to our central location our school is convenient for residents of North and South Georgetown plus, Acton, Norval, and Erin.
9) Month to Month lessons
The Academy does not require full semester registration for lessons. Every student here is on a month-to-month basis.
