Great Recitals Everyone!

This year’s Christmas recitals were a huge success! Over 130 students performed for their friends and family in 3 different recitals in Oakville and Georgetown. As you know we do not charge for the recitals but we do ask for food bank donations. Below is a picture of the food brought in at the Oakville concerts. Although we don’t have a picture, Georgetown was also very generous.

 

Pet of the Month – Toby

Our eight-year old Coton de Tulear. His favourite activities are eating, sleeping, chasing squirrels and singing along during fiddle practice. His goal in life, obviously, is to become a highly-paid magazine model. However, he is not keen on looking well-groomed! He will do lots of tricks, one after another, for a cookie. Catherine Ross

“My 6 year old daughter started ukulele lessons this fall with the Academy of Music (Georgetown) and we couldn’t be happier! Within only a few months she has learned so much. She is reading music, playing familiar songs and even writing her own music. This is thanks to her teacher, Dan. He is very patient and encouraging. Just this week my daughter announced “I just can’t believe it….I’m a musician!” Her confidence has soared not just with her playing but in many other areas as well. Is YOUR Teacher Sold Out?

Many of our teachers have sold out between the hours 4 pm – 8 pm. If you need a schedule change or would like to be added to a waiting list for a particular teacher, day or time, please contact our office and we can add you to the waiting list. There are still limited lesson spots available. To inquire about openings for January send an e-mail to [email protected] or call the office.
