Welcome our new office team members

Everyone please give a warm welcome to the newest members of the Academy of Music office team! In Oakville we have Rabia (on the right). And in Georgetown we have Val and Alexa. They started their training the first week of August so no pictures yet.

Some of you have already seen Rabia around the Oakville studio especially on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

As for Georgetown you can look forward to meeting Val and Alexa the last week of August SO be sure to say ’HI!”

Musical Ladder Success!

The Academy of Music is the only school in Oakville to give their students the opportunity to earn cool colour wristbands (kids and teens love them!), trophies AND certificates for completing musical challenges. No other school inspires their students with smiling faces by giving them full colour, really cool “Musical Ladder” wristbands that they can show off to their friends.

More importantly when our students have a challenge coming up, they practice more, their parents are proud, their teachers are proud, and everybody wins!

Here are some of our recent Musical Ladder success stories:

Violin lesson student Nawra earned her Musician award!

Teachers With Waiting Lists

Many of our music teachers have sold out between the hours of 4pm and 8pm, If you need a schedule change or would like to be added to a waiting list for a particular teacher, day or time, please contact the office staff and they can add you to the waiting list.  If you are not a student yet there are still limited lesson spots available. PET OF THE MONTH!!!

This month’s Pet of the month is Henry!

Henry is a year and a half and was adopted from the Burlington Humane Society. He enjoys zooming around, travelling, and climbing to the tallest place in a room.
