Welcome to the Academy of Music’s
2021 OUTDOOR SUMMER RECITAL AND STUDENT APPRECIATION DAY!
We are very excited to present our first live recital since 2019!
The 2021 Summer Recital and Student Appreciation Day will include:
- Student performances from you.
- A FREE BBQ with hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and drinks.
- An awards ceremony in recognition for your part in helping “Keep the Music Alive”! We will be honoring all the students that were able to continue music lessons throughout the pandemic with special music awards medals and certificates
- A special gift for returning students that were unable to continue during the pandemic.
- TWO DRAWS for A WHOLE YEAR OF FREE MUSIC LESSONS! One general draw for everyone who attends and one draw just for performers (this means performers will have 2 chances to win)
Where:
Outside at the Academy of Music.
Bring your own chairs and socially distance. The performance platform is 8′ X 8′ to ensure distance is maintained.
Note: We cannot enforce the rules outside. Please be respectful of each other.
When:
Oakville – August 8th from 10am-5pm
Georgetown – August 15th from 10am-5pm
Who:
You and your family (your friends are welcome too)
What Should I Play?
Any song you want! Just check with your teacher first 🙂
How do I sign Up?
Simply call/text or email the office and we’ll put you on the list.
Don’t want to perform?
No problem! Please join us for the BBQ and to receive your award.
