How Do The Recitals Work?

Music Recitals play a very important part in the development of any musician. I strongly believe that to be a really great performer, you have to have consistent and gradual performance experience. In addition to this, you need to have positive performance experiences.

If you would like to perform, or would like for your child to perform, in our December recitals, here’s how it works:  Let your teacher know ASAP that you or your child would like to perform. On November 1st, all teachers will submit their lists of their students who wish to perform in the December recitals. We will post the performance schedule by the end of November. We are all looking forward to another great recital this December!

Thank You For Helping The Academy Grow To Over 300 Students!

As of September 17, 2015 our schools hit a record high of 319 music students! We have been in operation for 20 years and we are still growing! I just wanted to send out a huge “Thank You!” to all of our great students and teachers for helping us hit this milestone. We look forward to reaching 350 very soon.

“My 16 year old daughter started guitar lessons at Academy of Music in Oakville last year. She loved it. Her instructor was a great teacher and she was able to pick songs that she wanted to learn to play, like her favorite artist Taylor Swift or Coldplay. This made the lesson fun for her. The best thing that happened was this summer she played her guitar at the camp fire at the cottage and had a great time doing it. She is a shy girl so this was huge. It really helped her self confidence. She is very happy to take guitar lessons there. Thanks again!”

Is YOUR Teacher Sold Out?

Most of our teachers have sold out between the hours 4 pm – 8 pm. If you need a schedule change or would like to be added to a waiting list for a particular teacher, day or time, please contact our office and we can add you to the waiting list. There are still limited lesson spots available. To inquire about openings for October send an e-mail to [email protected] or call the office. NOTE: We experience a huge influx of new students in September. Please don’t wait to schedule your lessons.
