To All Academy of Music Families,

Beginning Saturday April 3, 2021 all music lessons will be taught online as per the Ontario Government Lockdown Order.  As you know the vaccine roll out is ramping up and we expect this lockdown to be temporary.

We have been teaching online lessons for over a year and have developed a smooth and reliable system that works well.  Even with over 600 students attending lessons each week we do not expect many hick ups.

Our goal during this time is to continue to be your source for music education.  Having your kids at home for so long is very challenging and seems like every other service is closing down!  We are not closing down.  We are proud to say that there are 625 students learning to love music with us and new students starting every week. Most of our teachers are completely booked.  During this temporary social isolation, it’s important to keep our children’s lives as normal as possible. We plan on doing just that!

How does it work?

1. At your lesson time simply click the Zoom link to come to our virtual lobby.    Here’s the link:  https://zoom.us/j/9058451227

2.  Our friendly office staff will put into your Zoom room with your teacher
3.  That’s It!

We do ask only one thing:  When logging in please change your display name to the student’s name.  This will make it much easier to put you with your teacher quickly.

SPRING BREAK
As you know the March break has been moved to April this year.  There are no lessons from Sunday April 11 – Saturday April 17.  The office will be open that week.

EASTER
We are closed on Good Friday (April2) and Easter Sunday (April 4).  We are open on Monday April 5th.

The Easter and March Break closures have already been factored into the balanced month lesson fees. 

We are accessible via phone, email, FB, and text to answer questions that are specific to your personal music lesson journey during this time, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
