As a musician and a parent I am constantly looking for opportunities for my kids to learn and grow. Not just as musicians but as people. I want my children to grow up to become kind, caring, smart, and sensitive people that make the world a better place. Music lessons are just one of the activities I use to help them grow.

In August of last year (2019) Oakville Academy of Music expanded to offer in-home music lessons on guitar, piano, and ukulele. The new music lesson program has been so popular we decided to expand our our service area to Burlington Ontario and add drum and violin lessons. The new Burlington in-home music lesson program will begin in January of 2021 and will start with lessons for guitar, piano, and ukulele much like the Oakville program began.

Guitar companies around the world are seeing a huge increase of guitar sales since the pandemic began in the second half of March this year. Since Ontario’s locked down people are finding themselves with more time on there hands and many of them are taking up guitar playing as a way to pass the time and provide solace in an uncertain time.
